Cotswolds Christmas Gift Guide

Cotswolds Christmas Gift Guide

With all that is going on in the world it is hard to know what Christmas is going to be like this year. With Covid meaning we might not know when we will see loved ones again and making plans to celebrate the festive season difficult, we have to cherish those we love in other ways. This means gift giving has extra importance this year as it becomes one of the only ways we may be able to show those we care about just how much we appreciate them.

Here at Sarah Badeni we feel passionate about shopping locally and sustainable where possible and with many small businesses taking a big hit this year this has greater importance now more than ever. That is why we have decided to bring you our Cotswolds Christmas Gift Guide for 2020 to help you find the best luxury gifts and experiences for the people you care about whilst supporting your local community.

Brownrigg Antiques

 Brownrigg Antiques

Brownrigg Antiques in Tetbury is one of my favourite places to scavenge for beautiful and eclectic antiques. Set in a gorgeous three floored Georgian house in the Cotswolds, it's the perfect setting for finding that special someone a beautiful handpicked statement piece. Offering everything from furniture to quirky ornaments you can spend hours browsing in store or on their website which is regularly updated with new pieces. They also have the most beautifully curated Instagram account, as recommended by Vogue in this years April issue, that is definitely worth a follow.

Thyme- A Village within a Village

Thyme

We might not have been able to get away abroad this year but with staycations becoming the best alternative, why not create amazing memories with a stay at Thyme- a village within a village. Situated in a restored historic manor house and farm in heart of the Cotswolds it's the most idyllic place to unwind and feel closer to nature. And as if that wasn't enough they also offer cookery classes, floristry classes, spa treatments and gift experiences. If a get away isn't feasible for you at the moment they also have the most elegant shop, embodying a 'love of the land' ethos, they offer beautiful and sustainable gifts, including a lovely silk wear collection, homeware and gardening themed gifts. Westonbirt is also right around the corner, so why not book a visit there during your stay to see their Enchanted Christmas event or just for a lovely afternoon wander.
